The design world is rapidly changing with the introduction of AI into our workflow. I have been rapidly evolving my process to adpot these new tools and work as efficiently as possible.
Claude
Where I think out loud, and increasingly where the writing lands too. Decision rationale, specs, handoff docs. Less time formatting, more time on the actual argument.
Figma - Web & Mobile Designing
Where craft and systems work happens: components, variants, the details that have to be right. Less my starting point now, more where things get precise.
Claude Design
Ideation to working prototype without switching tools. I explore directions, get something clickable, and share a link, often before I've opened Figma.
Jira/Confluence
The system of record. Docs often start as a Claude draft and land here so decisions are findable six months later. Jira tells me what's actually shipping.
Amplitude
My reality check. After launch I go here to find out whether people use the thing the way I designed it, and where they quietly give up.
